Your account email; wedding details you enter (date, venue, budget); guest information you add (names, contact details, RSVP status, and any dietary or accessibility needs); and payment records when you make a purchase (we don't store your card details, Stripe handles that directly). When you create an account we also note which MarryHQ site you signed up on and your country (taken from your connection; we don't store your IP address), and, if you accepted analytics cookies, the campaign or website that sent you to us, so we can see which channels work.
Solely to provide the service you've signed up for, running your task checklist, guest list, budget tracker, and public RSVP site. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
When you invite guests to RSVP, they may share dietary or accessibility information with you. That data is visible only to you and anyone you've given access to your wedding, never public, and never shared with other users or weddings on the platform. You're responsible for telling your guests how you'll use the information they give you.
The infrastructure providers that run the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only as needed to provide their part of the service.
On marryhq.ie, a banner lets you choose which of these are set when you first visit, and you can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer. On our other sites (marryhq.co.uk and marryhq.com) we set only the sign-in cookie, which is strictly necessary, so there is no banner there.
For as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we'll do so within a reasonable time, except where we're required to keep records (e.g. payment records for tax purposes).
Under GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Email hello@marryhq.ie and we'll action it.
If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission, Ireland's supervisory authority for data protection.
